PREVIEW: European Skydiving Symposium 2026

What do you think of as a skydiver when you hear words like:

Seville! Sunshine! Winter season!

Right – two things come to mind:
Vacation and Skydive Spain!

Both are spot on, but there’s something more.
From February 25-27, 2026, the European Skydiving Symposium is finally back.
Co-hosted by Skydive Spain!
And guess what – this time it’s in Seville!
For the first time outside of Poland.

What started in 2018 as a small event with 77 attendees has grown over the years into the largest event of its kind in Europe. In 2024, 716 enthusiastic participants attended the ESS in Warsaw, Poland.

And we were there too! (Read our review here on Skydive Nation!)
As a young company in the skydiving scene, it was a huge honor for us to partner as a media patron for the event. On the flip side, we made valuable connections within the international skydiving community.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be back as media partner in 2026!

So, what is the European Skydiving Symposium?

The ESS is the largest event focused on safety in skydiving.
The biggest names in the skydiving world will be there to give talks, engage in discussions, and share tips and tricks.
Confirmed so far:

Pete Allum, Ernesto Gainza, Armando Fattoruso, Julian Barthel, Neil Wilcox, Marcus Laser, Kate Cooper-Jensen…

And many more to come! Stay tuned!

Keynotes and the latest sh*t!

In addition to the exciting talks, you can look forward to an exhibition featuring all manufacturers, dealers, and inventors, where you can check out the latest gear and hottest trends in skydiving!

Where is the ESS taking place?

The organizers, led by Marta Molinska, made a top-notch decision after thoroughly checking out various locations. The four-star Alcora Hotel in Seville has been chosen for the symposium. You’ll find multiple stages here where different topics will be discussed, along with the exhibition and, of course, the legendary after-party. Plus, you can book your room right here and be just a tiny jump away from the event!

Following the symposium, from February 28 to March 1, 2026, a major gear testing event will be held at Skydive Spain.

When do tickets go on sale?

There will be 1, 2, and 3-day tickets available. Sales are set to kick off in July this year.

Good to know:

Most talks will be held in English and will be simultaneously translated into Spanish or vice versa. This way, everyone can follow along with the presentations.

You have to tell something important?

ESS Ambassador Germany
Why you shouldn’t miss the European Skydiving Symposium:

Safety is top priority in this sport. Without continuous education and new insights, we can’t make progress. At the ESS, you’ll find presentations, workshops, fireside chats, and interviews with people whose experiences provide valuable knowledge for all of us. Meet experts, engineers, instructors, inventors, and fun jumpers with stories to share.

Still have questions? I am here for you!

No problem! The organizers are more than happy to address your inquiries. Alternatively, there’s the Ambassador Program, also available on the ESS website. You’ll definitely find an ambassador who can assist you in your native language.
For Germany, I have the honor of helping out! So if you have any questions about the event, I’m here to answer them in German. Feel free to bombard me with your concerns!

We’ll keep you updated here at Skydive Nation and look forward to seeing you in Seville next year for the European Skydiving Symposium!

Blue Skies!
