German Skydiving Championships 2024
and International Illertal Cup at the
Tannheim airfield – sport, excitement and charity
On September 28 and 29, 2024, the Tannheim airfield will become the center of skydiving.
The German Accuracy Jumping Championships and the
International Illertal Cup will bring together the best skydivers in Germany as well as teams from
Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
A special highlight:
The national team of the German Armed Forces also takes part in the competition.
A large number of participants come from Upper Bavaria, the Allgäu and Swabia.
The competition focuses on the discipline of accury jumping, in which the athletes try to
to land as precisely as possible on a marked target.
Supported by regional clubs, the proceeds of the event will go towards the construction of a new playground in the municipality of Tannheim which strengthens the link between sport and the common good.
The patrons of the event include the President of the German Aeroclub
and the mayor of Tannheim, Mr. De Vita, which underlines the importance of the event for the region.
Sunday, September 29, 2024, marks the highlight of the event, when the competition enters the
hot phase of the competition.
From 9:00 a.m., the participants will fight for the last points before the award ceremony takes place in the afternoon at around 15:00.
Until then, spectators can enjoy exciting competitions and impressive parachute jumps.
In addition to the sporting highlights, the event offers a varied supporting program with food stands, information on all aspects of skydiving and the opportunity to try a tandem jump.
Spectators are warmly and expressly welcome.
